The “Update in Sports Medicine 2010” Course is designed to increase the participants’ knowledge of current management and rehabilitation of injuries related to the athlete. Topics covered include management and assessment of head trauma in sports; management of spine injuries; diagnosis of shoulder injuries; current treatment options for tennis elbow, ACL tears, medical tibial stress syndrome, and finger fractures; rehabilitation of shoulder injuries and ACL reconstruction; and use of Pilates in rehab.
This course has been approved for 6.5 Category 1-A Credits by the American Osteopathic Association.
This course has been approved for 6.25 CE credits by the Ohio Physical Therapy Association and BOC, Inc.
This course has been submitted for approval for CME credit by the Ohio Nurses Association and Ohio State Chiropractic Board.
